*At the moment we’re not able to rehearse because of the Coronavirus outbreak, but we’d still love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining. And, when it’s safe for us to practice together again we’d love to see you in person.

Here’s how to join us

To join the Mach Wind Band or see what we’re like, drop us an email to let us know what instrument/s you play and to ask any questions. There is no audition you can come along to a rehearsal on a Tuesday evening at The Tabernacle in Machynlleth. We start at 7:30pm so arrive ten minutes before and we can say hello. The rehearsal is normally two hours 7.30-9.30pm

You don’t have to sign up straight away. You can come along to a few rehearsals before you to decide whether you want to join. We are a very friendly bunch so you can be assured of a warm welcome!

We ask that band members attend rehearsals and concerts but we do also realise that people have jobs, holidays, family commitments, and that it isn’t always possible to attend.

We rehearse all year round except the main school holidays.

Band fees

Once you join we ask you to pay a yearly membership fee of £75 which you can pay annually or in termly installments of £25 if you prefer.
